Which UK travel insurances cover you and your rental car in the US?
It’s a common problem: Most American auto insurance companies no longer cover rental cars in Europe.
You need to check with your regular auto insurance to see if they will cover a rental car in the USA – there may be an extra fee. Also ask the RAC for advice.
